Your session includes a full diagnostic hearing assessment, detailed ear canal evaluation, and a personalised exploration around listening effort, cognitive load, and your day-to-day communication environments and partners. If clinically appropriate, we will take precise ear measurements in order to fit your Lyric device, allowing you to experience natural, 24/7 hearing.
Unlike traditional hearing aids, Lyric is worn continuously and can remain in place for weeks or even months at a time. It is then replaced as part of a managed subscription programme. Because of its deep placement and extended wear, it is not suitable for everyone. This session is designed to establish that clearly and safely.

Travelling with Lyric and need support while you’re in London?
Being part of the global Phonak Lyric network, The Well Being BY CUBEX offers a dedicated service for visiting Lyric users whose devices require attention during their stay.
Lyric is an extended-wear hearing solution designed to remain comfortably in the ear for weeks or months at a time. From time to time, devices need to be removed and replaced.
If your Lyric device stops working or needs to be replaced while you are away from your primary audiologist, we can assist. All you need is an active Lyric subscription and your Lyric contract ID.
Where clinically appropriate, your appointment may include:
• Assessment of the condition of your ear canal
• Safe removal of the existing device
• Insertion of a new Lyric device
This is a single, one-off appointment to help restore your hearing promptly and allow you to continue your time in London without interruption.
We require: Your Lyric contract ID. Please have it on hand when you visit us as we can only replace your Lyric if we have this reference number.
